Ports of Call

Ports of CallOur Grand Ole Opry events will undoubtedly make the voyage memorable but the stops along the way give you time to enjoy the destinations. Explore on your own or book shore excursions through the cruise line.

Falmouth, Jamaica

If you go ashore in Falmouth you may feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.  At first glance it may seem as if this town never left the past; as if it’s always been the Caribbean getaway we can enjoy for a day.  As you relax during a horse and buggy ride or a stroll through town to appreciate the Georgian architecture, browse the gift shops, or take in the ambiance it may surprise you to learn that Falmouth played an important role in English Colonial history.  If that surprises you it will be less surprising to imagine this city as premier stopping place for Royal Caribbean – the transformation has already begun.  Those who want to appreciate the natural beauty of the area will travel east to Ocho Rios to see the spectacular Dunn’s River Falls.  Head west to enjoy Montego Bay or to lounge on the beaches of Negril.  At the end of the day the comfort of the ship awaits.

Georgetown, Grand Cayman

This stop gives you time to appreciate what we love most about the Caribbean.  It’s a place where aqua waters meet the shoreline in Caribbean warmth.  During our time in Grand Cayman you may want to do nothing more than stroll along Seven Mile Beach.  This white sand beach extends for miles and is the perfect place to imagine the island as it was when Christopher Columbus first came here. Spend the day on a beach, plan a kayaking trip, or view life beneath the water while you snorkel.  Make plans on your own or book a shore excursion onboard the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

The first explorers came to Cozumel in search of gold.  You can still find gold on the island but you’ll have to browse the shops of San Miguel to find what you are looking for.  This stopping place may be known for its rich history and the shops you can enjoy but it’s the magnificent coral reefs that set it apart.  If you like to dive or snorkel you will count the time exploring these protected reefs as a highlight of this trip.
